Here are some tips to prepare your carpets before a professional cleaning:

Vacuuming

Before vacuuming, sprinkle baking soda over the needles. This helps coat them and make it easier to vacuum them up. Make sure to do a thorough inspection and remove all of those pesky metal ornament hooks before vacuuming!

Duct Tape

There are always pine or fir needles that stay stuck in the fibres of your carpet. For these, Duct Tape can come in handy. Wrap duct tape around your hands and pat those pesky needles. If this doesn’t work, try tweezers.
